Trying to imagine what people think about me, it occurred to me that the endeavor is selfish and juvenile. It is to assume that another human thinks of you the way you think of yourself. That they consider you for a good long time before they make up their mind. The only habits, tendencies, nature, and idiosyncracies you can make sense of are your own.

In the vast anonymous community there is no self outside of yourself.
